1987
Founded

The official About page says Gerhard Meiring founded CADCOR in 1987 and Barry Barnard soon joined.

1995–1996
First workshop & first major project

After buying industrial property in Centurion, the company built its first 2,100m² workshop / office facility and secured the BMW Paint Shop contract.

1999
Restructured as CADCON

The business was restructured and renamed CADCON (Pty) Ltd.

2006
Medupi era growth

The official history says the Medupi project initiated another wave of rapid growth and investment in CNC machinery and management software.

2011
ISO accreditations & BEE deal

The About page says CADCON obtained ISO 9001-2008 and ISO 3834 welding accreditations and entered a 46% BEE empowerment deal.
